my name is Jacob Gorovoy and I am the Founder of Yasha’s Breakfast Sammies; Yasha is my name in Russian, where my family is from. I have been cooking since the age of fourteen and have experience working in fine-dining and Michelin-star restaurants in the United States and Spain. While I love the technical ability and precision associated with fine dining, my true passion is the breakfast sandwich, a dish that can be as simple, complex, refined, or messy as you would like. I started Yasha’s Breakfast Sammies to share my love for this dish with everyone and push the limits of the traditional breakfast sandwich. Can’t wait for you to try!
